Hi there! I’m Frankie, 23, and the proud owner of Cloud 9 Crafts.

While studying at university to become a Primary School Teacher in 2021, I bought a cutting machine to create classroom décor and personalised gifts for my future students. What started as a hobby quickly turned into making thoughtful gifts for my family and friends, who encouraged me to open an Etsy shop.

To my surprise, Cloud 9 Crafts took off, and I hit over 1,000 sales in my first year! I juggled university, work placements, and countless orders, graduating in 2023 with a 2.1. Then came the toughest decision—pursue my lifelong dream of teaching or take a leap of faith and follow my passion for crafting.

Fast forward to 2024, and I’m so glad I chose crafting. With nearly 10,000 orders, a thriving Etsy shop, growing social media platforms, and now my own website, Cloud 9 Crafts has become more than I ever imagined. My mission is to create unique, meaningful gifts for you to cherish or share with loved ones, all handmade with care and love in my workshop.

You’ll find me selling online through social media, this website, and Etsy. On weekends, I travel the country for market stalls and fairs, often joined by my mum, boyfriend, or best friend. Your support makes all of this possible, and I’m endlessly grateful for every single order.

  • Frankie (Founder)

    I’m Frankie, the founder and proud owner of Cloud 9 Crafts. I’m the one you’ll speak to when you reach out, and I design every product with care and creativity. From making TikTok videos and managing social media content to keeping the website and Etsy shop running smoothly, I handle it all. I organise the stalls we attend, order and find new stock, package orders when Matt’s not available, and, of course, make every single order myself. Cloud 9 Crafts is my passion, and I love bringing unique, thoughtful creations to life for you. ❤️

  • Emma (Mum) & Daz (Dad)

    My mum, Emma, helps with craft stalls, cutting thank-you cards and scratch cards, and keeping everything organised. My Dad, Daz is the reason Cloud 9 Crafts exists today. He invested in the machinery I needed to get started. During my busy teaching placement, both of them made sure my parcels got to Royal Mail on time, always going the extra mile to support me. They are my biggest cheerleader, constantly pushing me to keep going, even when I doubt myself. ❤️

  • Matt (Boyfriend)

    Matt is the ultimate all-rounder, helping with craft stalls, sourcing stock, and ensuring every order is perfectly packaged. He’s also a skilled technician and our trusted IKEA builder, keeping everything functional and looking great. Always there with emotional support and a can-do attitude, Matt is a cornerstone of Cloud 9 Crafts, and I couldn’t do it without him! ❤️

  • Laura & Abbie (Besties)

    Abbie is always by my side at market stalls, engaging with my social media, and supporting me by buying gifts for her family and friends from Cloud 9 Crafts. Her unwavering encouragement keeps me going!

    Laura is my go-to for business advice, thanks to her business degree. She’s been there for everything from risk assessments to helping me decide on my logo. Laura also joins me at stalls, engages with my social media, and advises on what products look great. Both Abbie and Laura are there to listen to my experiences, even the tough ones about the 1% difficult customers, and they believe in me to the ends of the earth. ❤️

Meet my brother, Travis Steels, a passionate and talented motocross rider chasing his dreams on the track. As his proud sponsor, I’m honoured to support him in this thrilling journey.

When I’m not crafting your personalized gifts, you’ll often find me cheering him on at races, helping with his gear, or celebrating his achievements. Watching his dedication and love for the sport inspires me every day.

At Cloud 9 Crafts, family means everything, and supporting my brother’s motocross journey is one of the ways I show it. Whether it's providing sponsorship or simply being his biggest fan, I’m so proud of everything he’s accomplished so far—and I can’t wait to see where his determination takes him next.
